Actress Kasthuri hit back at netizen, who tried to shame her on her item dance “despite being a mother”.
The teaser of Tamizh Padam 2.0 released last week had received applauds for it's innovative making.
Actress Kathuri made her comeback in 2010 with an item dance in Thamizh Padam and once again she was seen in an item song in the sequel of Thamizh Padam titled Tamizh Padam 2.0.
While many were excited to see a glimpse of her in the special number, few others trolled for taking up such a role.
A Twitter user had posted, "Is it right to do a item dance after being a responsible mother??? (sic)"
Kasthuri replied to his tweet and shut him down by saying, "This is the typical 'Tamil' mindset that I am hellbent on changing. That looking sexy is opposite of brainy, or motherly, or virtuous. Do we ever ask a male actor why he acts in drinking scenes/dances in sexy songs/romance sequences after having kids? (sic)"
It seems, she has put the issue in perspective and shut the troller.
