Fahadh thanked all the women who influenced him in his life as he received the Vanitha Award.It was Mollywood’s favorite star couple Fahadh Faasil and Nazriya Nazim who grabbed the spotlight at the recent Vanitha Film Awards 2018.
This year Fahadh bagged the award for the best actor for his incredible performance in the super hit movies Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum and Take Off.
Receiving the award from ace film maker Lal Jose, Fahadh Faasil said that it was his third Vanitha Award for best actor and that he feels extremely fortunate to be a part of the Malayalam movie industry.
The actor, who was accompanied on stage by his wife Nazriya, thanked all the women who influenced him in his life as he received the Vanitha Award. He said,
“I was born to my mother when she was just 19. Literally, we grew up together. She has been a good friend. Umma was the only person who had trusted me. Thank you for having the faith in me,” he said and also remembered both his sisters Ahmeda and Fathima.
Turning to his wife Fahadh said, “Thank you for not leaving me and putting up with me; and thank you for being patient and giving me a chance. I love you Nazriya.”
Fahadh's words were greeted with loud round of applause from the audience which included young and prominent film personalities.
