'Stethoscope' narrates a tale of trust between doctor and patient The film explores the intense trust that a doctor and her patient share.

The movie, which tells the gripping tale of a doctor’s life, is grabbing attention among the cine goers.

Stethoscope, an earnest venture by a group of friends including medical practioners from Perinthalmanna in Malappuram, portrays the emotional and turbulent life of Bhagyalekshmi, a gynecologist.

The film explores the intense trust that a doctor and her patient share. The idea of a movie based on the lives of doctors was conceived by renowned pediatrician Dr. Venugopal.

The movie which has already had a successful run at various centers across Malappuram will be released in all other district centers. The movie will be released in Kozhikode, Palakkad and Kannur shortly.

The movie has been shot mainly at private hospitals in Perinthalmanna. About 500 artists from Perinthalmanna had been part of this project.

The performance by lead actors, who are mostly real life doctors, is really commendable. Actor Lakshmi Sharma who debuted through Mammootty-starrer Palunku is making a come back to Malayalam through the film Stethoscope.
