Hit screen writer Uday Krishna has penned the script for the film, which has been scheduled as a Christmas release.
The tagline of the film reads 'Master of Masses' and its teaser will come out on November 25. Mammootty appears as English professor Edward Livingstone or Eddie in the campus movie. It narrates events following the entry of a mischievous professor into a college having a bunch of mischievous students. To add fuel to fire, Eddie is a former student of the college, the most troublesome one of his time.
The principal of the college has invited Eddie to the college purposefully, knowing his character well. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar appears as Bhavani Durga, IPS, while Unni Mukundan also dons a cop's role. Poonam Bajwa essays the role of a professor in the film which casts actor-director Santhosh Pandit as well.
Gokul Suresh Gopi, Mukesh, Maqbool Salmaan, Siju John, Pashanam Shaji, Biju Kuttan, Arjun Ashwin, Sunil Sukhada, Ganesh Kumar, Captain Raju, Shivaji Guruvayur, among others appear in the film playing prominent characters.
