South Indian star Dulquer Salmaan was at his cheerful best when he, along with actor Vidya Balan, went bonkers at the 'Son of Abish' show anchored by stand-up comedian Abish Mathew.
While Vidya Balan sent her audience into peels of laughter with her witty comments and answers to quirky questions, Dulquer kept her company with equal zeal.
One of the questions put to Dulquer was to explain the meaning of his name. While he narrated how his name used to baffle his teachers at schools and people in general, he asserted his assumption as to what his name meant.
"It's got an Arabic meaning. Both Dulquer and Salmaan are named after warriors. I think it has a reference to Alexander. Apparently, the literal translation is either 'He of two horns' or 'He of blue eyes.' So, they think it has reference to when Alexander invaded Persia," he said.
The chat show rolled on with Vidya Balan and Dulquer revelling in rollicking challenges and puzzles, that gave the audience some hilarious moments.
'Son of Abish' is a comedy chat show conducted by Mumbai-based Abish Mathew, an artist who has his roots in Kerala. Abish's wife, Archana Kavi, is also anchoring a similar show titled 'Talk with Archie.'
