Geeta Kapoor (now) and a still from her movie 'Pakeezah' (R)Veteran Bollywood actress Geeta Kapoor, noted for her role in the iconic film, Pakeezah, has been reportedly abandoned by her choreographer son, Raja, at the SRV Hospital in Goregaon, Mumbai.
The 58-year-old senior actress was admitted to the hospital by her son on April 21, for getting treatment for her age-related ailments. But he did not return to take his mother home.
For the last many days, heart-wrenching pictures of Geeta are doing the rounds on social media.
In an emotional video telecast by a TV channel, she narrated how she has been left in the hospital for over a month now, and that no one from the family has come forward to get her discharged.
The hospital has reportedly lodged a complaint with the police, who are now trying to track down Geeta’s family.
