Buying a smartphone at the cost of a movie ticket seems too good to be true. No wonder Facebook didn't get the math right. Ever since Ringing Bells launched the cheapest smartphone phone till date, #Freedom251 has been trending on the social media, both on Facebook and Twitter.

But we guess Facebook's social media team just couldn't fathom the incongruity between the smartphone's decent specifications and cheap price. And hence, their description of the hashtag read thus: 'Ringing Bell Launches Smartphone Priced at Rs 251 Crore'.

No, we are not blaming you, Facebook. But your team just made the cheapest phone into the most expensive one. Yikes!

Update: A smart Indian at the Facebook headquarters at Menlopark in California has spotted the goofup and made the correction.
