Like every year, the New Year celebrations are going to be special in Dubai. A sumptuous spread of surprises are in store for tourists this X'mas and New Year. And yes, everything will be done keeping an eye on the COVID protocols.
There are plenty of places to watch the New Year’s Eve fireworks as well as plan elaborate New Year’s Eve dinner parties in Dubai. They are offering these parties in various price ranges.
Some of the restaurants you can try include Al Mashowa, Al Nafoorah (Levantine dining), Babaji (Turkish Restaurant), Bebemos (Spanish cuisine), Café 302 and Café Belge, Noir, Nara Pan Asian etc.
You can view free entertainment at Burj Khalifa, Souk Al Bahar, Burj Plaza, Kite Beach, Black Palace Beach, Madinat Jumeirah. Downtown Dubai is all set to ring in 2021 with huge fireworks and laser shows. The massive New Year’s Eve gala will be broadcast live globally (mydubainewyear.com).
Tour operators will be organising several parties like the New year party at Atlantis, the Palm Jumeirah, Desert Fun Beach Parties and Cruise parties.
The tourists can avail the various offers and discounts through Al Sadda Tourist card or Happiness card, which will be available at the Dubai International airport Passport counters. Visitors will be told to scan a bar code and download an app, which in turn will have the digital smart card that will have the discounts.
Through that the tourists can get discounts from various restaurants, for travelling inside Dubai, for health and beauty products, from Banks, Vehicles, sponsored malls, Fashion stores, online shopping, and other stuff.
And those who are travelling in Emirates airlines can avail free five-star accommodation as well (for details check the Emirates website). Emirates Airlines in partnership with Dubai Tourism are offering free stays at J W Marriott Hotel (Dec 6th to Feb 28th). Ever since the tourism season opened in India, they are offering flight tickets in discount rates from India to Dubai as well.
