Kolkata: Top Naxal leader and CPI (ML) Red Star Party's all-Indian general secretary K.N. Ramachandran, reported missing early Sunday, will reach Delhi shortly, reports say.
Ramachandran, who was to attend a protest in Banghar in West Bengal, was earlier detained by the Intelligence Bureau (IB) and sent back to New Delhi, where he currently lives.
Ramachandran was asked not to enter West Bengal in view of the tense situation in Banghar where an agitation is going on against a power grid project.
The Naxal leader was earlier reported missing from Kolkata soon after he alighted at Howrah railway station on Sunday morning.
There were speculations that Ramachandran could have been taken into police custody.
