A rubber tapper, who is a Tamil Nadu native, spotted the body first.Kottayam: In a heinous incident, a pregnant woman was found murdered at a rubber estate in Athirampuzha near here.
Her body was found discarded in a sack which was emanating foul smell.
The victim is reported to be a native of Neendoor in Kottayam district. From initial probe, it was evident that the woman was stifled to death by fastening a chord around her neck.

A team led by Kottayam SP carried out further procedures including inquest and shifted the body to Kottayam Medical College Hospital.
