Maoists target the forest department outpost at Poothottam Kadav in T K Colony in Kalikavu range.

Maoists attack two forest department outposts at Nilambur and abduct four forest watchers and another person at gunpoint. Two of them fled their captors, while the others were later let off. One of the outposts were gutted down and the other smashed up.

Armed guerrilla group point their guns at a woman working at a poultry farm at Ambalappara near Thiruvizhamkunnu at Alanallur.
2015 November 23
The police nab Ayyappan, the member of a Maoist group in Attappadi. The 45-year-old man comes from Panniyoorpadika in Puthoor panchayat.

Maoists set on fire the camp sheds of the forest department in the Bhavani Range of the Silent Valley Reserve Forest.
2015 October 17
Police sources say they injured two Maoists in a gun battle in the tracking area at Guttiyar kandi near the Kadukumanna tribal settlement in the Anavayi forest area in Attappadi.
2015 April 25
Maoists barge into the house of traffic cop A B Pramod at Vellamunda in Wayanad district. They set his motorbike on fire and stuck propaganda posters on his wall. They even held him at gunpoint and warned him to quit his job.
2015 January 29
Maoists sneak in to the office of the National Highway Authority of India project director at Kalamassery. They tore into files and set afire a few of them.
2014 December 22
KFC and McDonalds eateries smashed at Chandranagar near Palakkad.
2014 December 7
Kerala Police’s elite commandos Thunderbolts engage Maoists in the forest area adjoining the Kunjo Chappa tribal settlement in the Thondarnad panchayat in Wayanad district.
2014 November 18
Agrahara Resort at Tirunelli battered. Maoists smash up the windowpanes of the restaurant and the reception area along with the table, cupboard, Photostat machine and phone around 3 am.
