Kottayam: CPM politburo member Pinarayi Vijayan on Monday said Kerala Congress (M) chairman K.M. Mani's comment that there was no one who can be trusted in politics was aimed at Chief Minister Oommen Chandy.
"The Congress should come clear on Mani's statement. His words cannot be treated as casual comments," Pinarayi Vijayan said.
On Sunday, Mani had said that not many in politics can be trusted. "Most of them are a deceiving lot and would ditch you even as they display gestures of affection.
"Among them, only P.K. Kunhalikutty can be trusted. He will never cheat. He has no twin faces," K.M. Mani had said. He was addressing a gathering in Kottayam as part of IUML's Kerala Yathra.
