Asianet News chief broadcast journalist Aneesh Chandran was found dead on the railway track near Kazhakootam station on Friday.

He was 34 and leaves behind his wife Archana Parameshwaran, father R. Chandrasekhara Pillai, mother P. Vijayamma and brother Gireesh Chandran.

Aneesh, a native of Kollam, became a familiar face among the TV audience after he anchored FIR on Asianet News, a programme that features infamous crime stories and investigations.

An alumni of Karyavattom Campus of University of Kerala, Aneesh has also worked with Kairali News, Mangalam and Mathrubhumi.
