Thiruvananthapuram: Heavy rains continued to lash various parts of Kerala on Wednesday with fishermen being warned not to venture out to sea.
The Met department has said that rain and thundershowers are likely to occur at most places in Kerala and Lakshadweep in the next four days. In Kasaragod, educational institutions have been given a day off.
Fishermen along Kerala and Lakshadweep coast have been warned against putting out to sea.
On Tuesday, Taliparamba and Panniyur in Kannur district received 11 cm rains, while Munnar in Idukki recorded 9 cm rains. Vythiri in Waynad got 8 cm rains.
