Kochi: A vigilance court in Muvattupuzha on Saturday ordered probe into the disproportionate assets case against inspector general of police, Manoj Abraham.
The probe has been initiated on the basis of a complaint filed by a Pathanamthitta native, Chandrasekharan Nair. The petitioner alleged that Abraham had amassed wealth to the tune Rs 61 lakh, which was disproportionate to the known sources of his income during his tenure as city police commissioner in Kochi.
Presently, he is the chief of Cyberdome, a cyber security wing of the Kerala police.
