Thiruvananthapuram: Senior lawyer of Kerala high court, C.P. Sudhakaraprasad, has been appointed as Advocate General of the state.
He had shouldered same post during the previous LDF government headed by former chief minister V.S. Achuthanandan. The decision was taken during the cabinet meeting on Wednesday. Sudhakaran is an eminent lawyer in dealing with criminal cases.
An expert in constitutional laws the 65-year-old lawyer is a native of Chavarkode, Varkala in Kollam. He started practicing law since 1964. C.P. Sudhakaraprasad began his career in high court in 1965 has been practicing as a junior under P. Subramanian Potty till he became the high court judge.
