The house faces west, and a GI trellis screen is installed on the upper floor to block the evening sunrays. The terracotta jali wall in the car porch grants a rustic charm to the structure. The landscape too is artistically designed to suit the contemporary ambience of the house. The front yard, meanwhile, has been paved with Bangalore stones and cobble-stones.
Designed in 4500 sqft, this amazing mansion has a sit-out, formal and family living areas, dining area, courtyard, swimming pool, kitchen with a work area and two bedrooms on the ground floor. The upper storey has three bedrooms and a balcony too.
The semi-open interiors look incredibly vaster, while semi-partitions are used to ensure privacy. The entrance door opens to the formal living area adorned with customised furniture pieces. The courtyard separates the formal and family living areas and the skylight here brings golden sunshine into the house.
The family were open to experimenting with the colour and texture of the flooring. Few spaces in the house don the grand elegance of Italian marble, while regular tiles and wooden tiles have been paved in the rest of the house. Besides, the exquisite wooden furnishing grant a luxurious ambience to the interiors. Good quality timber has been used to build the ceiling and the panelling here.
The swimming pool, in the centre of the house, with an open ceiling is the highlight of the interiors. The serene view of the pool area could be enjoyed from all sides through the huge glass windows. The gentle wind that embraces water in the pool makes the interiors extremely cool and relaxing during noon time.
Long corridors have been built to enjoy the fabulous ambience of the pool from the bedrooms. Moreover, the bay windows in the dining area open to the sparkling water in the pool.
