Jisha's house The single-room house where Jisha was found murdered.

Perumbavoor: The Nirmithi Kendra has resumed the construction of Jisha’s house after her mother received close to Rs 12 lakhs in donations. Collector M.G. Rajamanickyam said that the construction was in progress.

Jisha had started the construction of the house on the assumption that she could complete it with the Rs 300,000 she would receive from the government. However, construction stopped midway due to paucity of funds. Soon after, she was murdered.

The collector had started a joint bank account with Jisha’s mother and said that donations would help to complete the house so that Jisha's mother could go directly to her new house from the hospital where she is under treatment. Donations ranged from Rs 5,000 to Rs 100,000.
