Carrot cake is a classic favourite of dessert lovers and with a few modifications, you can create a healthier version without compromising on the deliciousness. You can prepare it at home by using whole wheat flour and powdered coconut sugar instead of maida and sugar. Here’s how to go about it:
Ingredients
1 cup wheat powder
1 cup sliced carrot pieces
¾ cup sunflower oil
1 cup powdered coconut sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon powdered cinnamon and clove mix
Preparation
Whisk together the eggs and powdered coconut sugar using a blender
Take the wheat flour in a bowl
Add a teaspoon of baking powder and one teaspoon of powdered cinnamon and clove
Mix well
Put this into the egg mix and whisk again
Add the sliced carrot and blend well
Pout the batter into a cake pan and bake the same in an oven for 35 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius
