This delicious chicken and wheat snack could be made without adding even a drop of oil. Here is the recipe.
Ingredients
250 gms chicken
1 cup all purpose flour
½ cup wheat powder
1 onion
2 green chillies
1 sprig curry leaves
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp pepper powder
1 tsp ginger – garlic paste
Salt as required
2 tbsp butter
Preparation
Take the wheat powder, all purpose flour, salt and 1 cup water in a bowl
Mix well into smooth batter
Pressure cook the chicken with turmeric powder, pepper powder, salt and ½ cup water
Cook until two whistles
Heat 1 tsp butter in a pan
Sauté the onion, green chillies, curry leaves and ginger – garlic paste
Into it add ¼ cup chicken stock
Add the shredded chicken too
Give everything a good mix
Add ½ tsp pepper powder
Finally add some chopped coriander leaves
Mix well and turn off the flame
Meanwhile, heat another pan
Pour a ladle full of batter and spread it
Make dosas and keep them aside
Place some masala in the middle of each dosa
Roll them and seal the edges
Dip the dosas with the filling in beaten egg
Now roll them in bread crumbs
Heat 1 tsp butter in a pan
Toast the dosas
Flip the dosas and cook each side for 5 minutes
Enjoy this healthy snack with tomato ketchup or coriander chutney.
