Ingredients
¼ cup black sesame seeds
½ cup almonds, cut into slivers
1 tsp ghee
1/3 cup jaggery, grated
½ tsp ghee to grease
Preparation
Dry toast the sesame seeds on a medium flame till light golden brown
Similarly, toast the almonds and keep aside
Heat ghee, add the jaggery and reduce the flame
When the jaggery melts, remove it from the flame, only at that point lumps are formed the moment a drop of water falls on it
Now add the toasted sesame seeds and almonds and mix well
Transfer this mixture to a flat, well greased tray, and spread it out evenly
When it cools, cut it into square-shaped cubes and store in air-tight containers
You can also roll them into balls like laddus
