How do you beat the heat without adding a little tangy to your taste-buds?! Make this lip-smacking delicious pickle that is the best thing to be had with curd and rice.
Ingredients
2 unripe mangoes
2 dsp coconut oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
2 dry red chillies
2 sprigs curry leaves
½ tsp turmeric powder
2 dsp chilli powder
Salt to taste
½ tsp asafoetida powder
Preparation
Slice mangoes along with skin
Warm coconut oil and add mustard seeds, red chillies and curry leaves. Saute for some time and add ½ glass water.
Add to it the turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt, and let it boil
After boiling for two minutes remove from flame
Add sliced mangoes immediately and keep covered for two minutes
Sprinkle asafoetida powder and serve
