An easy little cake to make, it's an absolute winner where taste counts with the sheer flavour of ground almonds with corn.
Ingredients
200gm butter
150gm sugar
3 eggs
½ tsp vanilla essence
200gm ground almonds
200gm minced corn
100gm maida
Preparation
Mix butter and sugar and whip until soft
Add eggs one by one to this and beat well
Add vanilla essence and beat again
Gently add ground almonds and corn to it and blend
Transfer to baking tin. Cover with cling film
Wrap with Aluminum foil and bake in steam for 40 minutes
