Actor Jayasurya, who is committed to social causes, has fulfilled a promise he had made to a visually challenged boy who impressed him with his talent for singing.
Recently at a musical reality show, Jayasurya was bowled over by the incredible performance of young Gokul Raj who is blind from birth. Impressed by Gokul's talent, the actor had promised the 9 year old a chance to sing in the movies.
Jayasurya honoured his promise and within days itself, the child prodigy was invited to sing a song in the actor's new movie Gabri.
Gokul Raj became a social media sensation after his story was widely shared.
The young vocalist, who is not a trained singer, is a fan of Kalabhavan Mani's songs and mostly sings the late actor's songs. However, the chance to sing in Jayasurya's movie came as the perfect gift for Gokul Raj who overcame his blindness with his impeccable singing talent.
