Singer Shreya Ghoshal reveals her love story in an emotional FB post

Shreya Ghoshal, the queen of heartwarming melodies, has already earned a permanent place in the hearts of the Malayali music lovers.

The singer, who had announced her wedding to long time beau Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya by posting a beautiful picture of hers dressed as a traditional Bengali bride along with Shiladitya, had entered into wedlock in 2015.

Shreya doesn’t open up much about her personal life in interviews. But she had of late stunned everyone by sharing a lovely message for her husband on Facebook on their third wedding anniversary.

The singer also posted a beautiful picture of the couple along with the message: "You were just a boy and I was just a girl. We met, like strangers, in that school reunion. Something happened right at that moment, our hearts went berserk…I never thought live stories that I read in novels and watched in movies really existed, but well, they do… Happy 3rd Anniversary to us #shreyaditya."

Shreya Ghoshal tied the knot with Shiaditya Mukhopadhyaya after ten long years of courtship. Shiladitya, an engineer, is the CEO of a start up company. The prolific singer debuted in playback singing in 2002 by rendering the soulful melody ‘bairy piya’ for the movie Devdas.

Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali had invited her to sing in Devdas after watching her perform in a popular music reality show.

There was no looking back for Shreya since then, who won the national award for best female singer that year for her debut song itself. Shreya Ghoshal is currently one of the most popular singers in the country with countless number of songs in various Indian languages to her credit. She has won four national awards and six film fare awards besides many other accolades from around the globe.
