Trisha has finally opened up about the break up with young businessman Varun Manian.
The actress who is currently enjoying the success of her latest film Kodi, said, 'This success means a lot to me. For the last two years, I have been working very hard for this moment. I have no other plans but to continue in cinema irrespective of success and failure.''
When questioned if she would continue acting even after the wedding, Trisha was quick to say, ''That's why my wedding was called off. The person I was supposed to marry, asked me to stop acting. Instead of films, I chose to put a full stop to my engagement."
She further said, "I will only take a break when I get pregnant. If I am not offered lead roles, I will do characters that suit my image but I won't move away from the film industry. My wish is to act until my last breath."
Earlier, a source close to Varun said, "Varun's father is one of the most powerful industrialists in South India. From the beginning, he wasn't in favor of his son's decision to get married to Trisha. In fact, Varun's family and relatives expected Varun to get married to someone from a similar background."
