Preity Zinta to auction wedding pictures for charity Preity Zinta and fiance Gene Goodenough

Preity Zinta has stayed away from the silverscreen for a while, however, she is now in news after reports of her wedding with boyfriend Gene Goodenough surfaced online.

According to reports, Preity Zinta is all set to tie the knot with Gene in April in an extremely intimate ceremony at a Church in Los Angeles. The private ceremony in LA will be followed by a grand Rajput wedding in Mumbai which will span over three days.

Gene, who is the Vice President of Finance in a hydroelectric power company called NLine Energy, is based out of US.

If reports are to be believed, then the money Preity-Gene will collect from their wedding pictures, will be donated for a charitable cause. According to a daily, the proceedings will be donated to Preity Zinta Foundation that works towards educating children and old age home rehabilitation.

“Preity has been involved in several charitable initiatives but has never spoken about it since she is an extremely private person. However, both she and Gene wanted to celebrate this joyous moment in their lives by giving back to society in their own little way,” said a source close to Preity.
