Meenakshi slammed the door on Manju's face when she visited her?Did Meenakshi turn her face away from her mother Manju Warrier, who reportedly called on her at Dileep's ancestral home at Aluva?
Reports had emerged in different sections of the media, that Manju had gone to Dileep's ancestral home to meet her daughter where the irate daughter snubbed the mother refusing to listen to her words. But a more composed Kavya, who was also there recieved Manju into the house, reports said.
Manju had gone to meet Meenakshi, who chose to live with her father after her parents divorced and was later seen happily adapting to a new home with Kavya, Dileep's second wife.
The domestic scene had soured further ever since Dileep's arrest as he had accused Manju of raising false allegations and engaging in a conspiracy to trap him in the February 17 actress attack case where a young actress was waylaid, abducted and molested in a moving vehicle in Kochi.
Dileep had said that it was Manju who had pointed fingers at him when the controversial case was being investigated. He had even said Manju and her male friend had trapped him in the conspiracy.
He had also accused investigating officer IG B Sandhya of switching off the camera during interrogation when Dileep gave statements about Manju. He had mentioned this in his most recent bail plea which is expecting a verdict Tuesday.
The prosecution has stayed strong on their contention that Dileep is the mastermind of the criminal act and is too powerful to be let out on bail as he may tamper with evidence or influence the witnesses.
Amid these developments media reports emerged that Manju had tried visiting Meenakshi, to clear the air about her involvement in Dileep's incarceration, but she refused to pay heed.
Following the news break out, sources close to Manju said that there was no truth in the reported incident as Manju was in Kolkata shooting for 'Aami'.
