Social media has been abuzz as of late with rumors on popular TV host and actress Ranjini Haridas adopting a baby. The hearsay was pretty believable as Haridas had said in a few interviews that she might adopt a kid someday.
Often referred to as the woman whom Malayali men love to hate, the former Miss Kerala has always been an easy target of Kerala's patriarchy. But every time she gets embroiled in a controversy, Haridas would shut down her critics with a slap-happy attitude.
However, this time around, Haridas is pretty annoyed it seems. The in-demand emcee responded to a post about her adoption news saying she had no clue what the whole thing was about.
Further, she lashed out at the gossip-mongers and news hounds who spread such rumors on social networking sites. According to Ranjini, such rumors are 'shared' by 'jobless' NRIs who have all the time in the world for such mischief.
