South Indian actor Priyamani got engaged to long-term boyfriend Mustufa Raj on Friday at Priyamani's residence in Bengaluru, reports said.
The function was attended only by their relatives and close friends. The couple will tie the knot by the end of this year.
The news of the affair broke when Mustufa attended the grand finale of 'D for Dance' reality show in Mazhavil Manorama in which Priyamani was a jury member.
Priyamani had said that she met Mustufa Raj, who runs an event management firm, a few years ago during the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The actor had said that it was Mustafa's honesty and good sense of humour that drew her to him.
Priyamani has won national award for best actor for her performance in Tamil movie Paruthi Veeran. Director Vinayan's Sathyam is her first Malayalam film.
At present, she works on Yogaraj Bhat's Dana Kayonu, which stars Duniya Vijay in the lead role. She has also signed Malayalam film Silent Radio.
