Actor Arya is considered as Malayalam's own because of his Kerala roots even though he shot to fame in Tamil film industry. Arya was born as Jamshad Ceethirakath in Kasaragod. He made his Malayalam acting debut in 2011film Urumi.
Since then, his bonds with actor Prithviraj and cinematographer-turned-director Santhosh Sivan. Soon, Arya joined hands with the other two and Shaji Nadesan in the production house August Cinema.
And now, he will be seen as a villain opposite Mammootty's upcoming film The Great Father, directed by Haneef Adeni and produced by August Cinema. Arya will be playing Andrews Eapen, it was revealed by the makers on Wednesday.
In the photo, the actor, sporting a toned physique, is seen sweating it out at a gym.
That look itself is raising our expectations riding on The Great Father.
The movie also stars Shaam and Sneha in other prominent roles.
