Lakshmi Menon made her acting debut in a supporting role in the Malayalam film Raghuvinte Swantham Raziya (2011) while studying in eight grade. From there, she played the female lead in her debut Tamil film Sundarapandian in 2012 and went on to become one of most sought after actress in Kollywood.
Last year, after passing her plus two Lakshmi Menon joined the Sacred Heart college in Kochi. But now, due to her acting assignments Lakshmi had taken a lot of days off from college and reportedly, the management had called for her parents to warn them.
Lakshmi, who had joined for BA English Literature course, is now said to be pursuing her studies through a correspondence course.
The actress will be next seen in Rathina Shiva's Rekka opposite Vijay Sethupathi.
