Photos by: Tony DominicKochi: The commuters who hopped on a private bus in Kochi were in for a surprise on Wednesday as they had two interesting fellow passengers seated amidst them – one, an actor and the other, a politician.
Actor Dileep, along with MLA Heibi Eden, travelled in the bus, to help raise funds for the kidney replacement surgery of Unni George(29). A native of Njarakkal, George needs an immediate surgery following an acute renal failure.
Although his mother is willing to donate him her kidneys, the operation had to be postponed due to lack of money. The day's collection will be donated for the surgery. The bus plies between High Court and Vypin. The service was initiated by KSU District Committee.
