Boy oh boy! Dulquer Salmaan took a breather of 7-8 months after 100 days of Love and Ok Kanmani to let his fans celebrate his next release with aplomb. 'Kunjikka' as Dulquer Salmaan is lovingly called by his fans seems to have bulked up for his new character. Dulquer, who is known to sport beards, is seen in the film with a rugged look, sparking trends among youngsters. According to the makers, they had no other choice than Dulquer, to play the role of Charlie. What other reason do you need to make plans for the movie!☺

In a recent interview with the writer of Charlie, Unni R feels that Parvathy is one of the rare actresses, who is blessed with immense acting calibre. He feels that most of the actresses are perfect for the movies with their looks, but undoubtedly need improvement when it comes to acting skills. After making an impressive debut with Best Actor and following it up with yet another hit ABCD, Martin Prakkat has his fingers crossed. In an interview, the director himself said how Charlie has been a friend's gathering. Charlie is a happy guy who wants to make all others happy and Tessa works as a graphic artiste in Bengaluru. Along with them, we will see Aparna Gopinath, Tovino Thomas, Nedumudi Venu, Chemban Vinod, Soubin Shaheer and many others.
Like his previous films Martin has associated with the writing department of Charlie as well and is also handling production for Finding Cinema with actor Joju George and Shebin Backer as co-producers. We wait to see how well the ABCD ingredients work out here!
» The beauty of Charlie
Though the trailer doesn’t tell us much about the movie's plot, it definitely got our interest to hike when it showed off some exciting and beautiful locations (that even includes Room No 66) within an experimental venture. Going by the treatment of the trailer, Charlie seems to be a wacky entertainer, filled with all what is needed.
