Malayalam movie-goers are yet to come to terms with the untimely death of Malayalam actor Kalabhavan Mani. His bereaved family members are also yet to adjust to the reality.
Meanwhile, his daughter Sreelakshmi has done everything to live up to her dad's name. Sreelakshmi has secured high marks in her class 12 examinations.
Mani's brother RLV Ramakrishnan shared the news of Sreelakshmi's success through a Facebook post on Monday. He wrote, “For Mani chettan, his daughter is one close-to-heart person. She has secured high marks in her class 12 exams. Earlier, when she secured good marks in class 10 he had presented her with a Jaguar car. He always wanted his daughter to be a doctor. He even used to tell that he will build a hospital. Making her father proud, Sreelakshmi has successfully finished both class 10 and 12. More than being a mere doctor, be a human being like your father who always had a helping mentality. When you are successful, your dad will be one proud father. Wishing you all the best.” (sic.)
Sreelakshmi used to accompany her father for various stage shows and exhibiting inherited singing talents had also crooned for a few musicals. Mani had also made a mark as a prodigious folk singer.
Sreelakshmi was born when Mani's superhit movie Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njanum was running to packed houses in 1999. Mani had named her daughter after a character in the film.
