Actor Aima Sebastian, who shot to fame playing Nivin Pauly’s sister in Jacobinte Swargarajyam, recently tied the knot with Kevin Paul, son of Sophia Paul, the owner of the leading film production firm Weekend Blockbusters.
In the wedding video of the couple, which has gone viral on social media, Kevin revealed that it was the romantic mood set by superstar Mohanlal in one of the song sequences in the movie Munthirivallikal Thalikkumbol, which triggered his cupid feelings for Aima.
After winning hearts of the Malayali audience in Jacobinte Swrgarajyam, Aima earned appreciation for her role as the daughter of Ulahannan, the character played by Mohanlal in Munthirivallikal Thalikkumbol, produced by Weekend Blockbusters owned by Kevin’s mother.
In the video, Kevin confesses that he felt a crush towards Aima when the crew was filming a romantic song at Shimla. He said that he fell for the beautiful actress, watching Lalettan’s extremely romantic acts in the song.
Kevin and Aima tied the knot on January 4, and several A-listers from the south Indian film industry including Meena, Mithun, choreographer Prasanna master, Neha Saxena and Kalabhavan Shajon had turned up to wish the couple on their big day.
The wedding video, shared by Kevin on his Facebook page, has been watched by many.
Aima Sebastian’s first film was Dooram, which was made in 2013, but had a late release. Dooram, directed by Manu Kannanthanam, had also featured Aima’s twin sister Aina.
Aima was born and brought up in UAE and now lives in Sharjah. She is now an MBA student at Dubai Manipal University.
Kevin’s family has several business ventures in Dubai, apart from film production.
