National award winning director Mani Ratnam's next flick, one of the most anticipated movies of 2018, has been talk of the tinseltown since its announcement. Going by rumors, the movie, cast of which included heavyweights like Fahadh Faasil, Jyothika, Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swamy Simbu and Aishwarya Rajesh, seems to have ran into uncertainties as Fahadh has backed off.
Fahadh was rumored to be playing a thug in the movie.
Movie buffs, especially Mollywood fans, are eagerly waiting for a clear picture as they were still celebrating Mani Ratnam picking Angamaly Diaries fame Antony Varghese to join Fahadh and co. in the project.

While the exact reason for Fahadh's exit is yet unknown, sources have hinted that he chose to take the decision due to the delay in its commencement and his prior commitments.
However, the actor in a recent interview had said that he had doubts regarding a big film and, with the support of his wife Nazriya, he has decided to drop out.
Neither the makers nor Fahadh have reacted to the rumors which have been doing the rounds over the last couple of days. Fahadh is currently busy with Anwar Rasheed's Trance and also has another movie by a debutant director lined up.
The industry grapevine is that Mani Ratnam is now busy finalizing a replacement for the actor.
On Friday, Aditi Rao Hydari made it official that she is joining Ratnam's team for a second time after last year's Kaatru Veliyidai.
