Urvasi married Chennai-based builder Sivaprasad on November 2013Actress Urvashi has been away from the big screen for quite sometime. The actress, who has played mommy roles since the early stages of her career, took a break owing to her pregnancy and for looking after her son.
After divorcing her first husband Manoj K. Jayan in 2008, Urvasi married Chennai-based builder Sivaprasad on November 2013 and the couple had a boy on August 2014. Urvashi says the little boy, Ishaan, has changed her life.
Talking to Vanitha, the actress said, “My life has changed from what it used to be. I always wanted to be a mother to many children and that is why I even risked a late delivery. And I am very happy and enjoying this phase.”
Urvashi also has a teen-aged daughter from her marriage with Manoj K. Jayan.
Urvashi with son Ishaan Prajapathi“Now, I am very happy with my family life as well. I take my son wherever I travel just as I did with my daughter earlier on. My husband is very supportive in whatever I do,” she said.
Ask her about the name of her son, she says, “My elder daughter Kunjatta was behind it. Kunjatta and Meenichechi’s (Kalpana) daughter Sreemayi always take care of Ishaan. Even he enjoys their company.”
