Lijomol and Bhavana on the sets of the movieActress Lijomol, who charmed audience with her subtle performance in Maheshinte Prathikaaram and Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan, is now back in action after a while.
Lijo is the lead actress in Honey Bee 2.5, which hit the screens Friday. Honey Bee 2.5 is unlike any film shot so far in Mollywood. The movie was shot in the locations of Honey Bee 2 and is about a make-up artist.
Talking about the character, Lijo said, “I play the role of a bubbly girl Kanmani. I am acting as the personal touch-up girl of actress Bhavana. Whenever the makers of Honey Bee 2 called cut, I had to be with Bhavana and shoot for my film during her free time. For the role, I had to carry all the make-up items in my hand and be with her most of the time. In fact, as and when I tagged behind her, most of the people of the sets thought I was Bhavana’s real touch-up girl and a few of them even, asked me to move back.”
Talking about the making of the film, Lijo said it was a challenge to shoot two movies simultaneously. “There only very few characters in Honey Bee 2.5. We were roaming around on the sets of Honey Bee 2 and when director Shyju Antikad called us, we had to be ready. The stars of Honey Bee 2 are more experienced and professional than us and we had to be cautious while we acted.”
Ask her what to expect from Honey Bee 2.5 and Lijo is all smiles. “It covers all kinds of emotions -love, action, drama. Honey Bee 2.5 is for all to watch and enjoy.”
