Thiruvananthapuram: Shravan, son of actor-politician Mukesh MLA, is all set to make his acting debut. The film titled Kalyanam is being directed by Rajesh Nair who shot to fame through Salt Mago Tree.

The puja function of the film was held on Sunday at the Symphony Hall of Mascot hotel here. The event witnessed Mukesh and his ex-wife Saritha coming together on the same stage after the two parted ways about seven years ago. Mukesh is presently married to dancer and dance scholar, Methil Devika.

Varsha Bollamma, the Tamil actress who earned fame through dubsmash videos, will be playing the female lead opposite Shravan. Interestingly, Mukesh will be playing the character of hero's father in the film. Meanwhile, Sreenivasan will done the role of the heroine's father.

Son of Mukesh and Saritha, Shravan is presently working in Dubai. The script of the film is penned by Govind Vijay, Sumesh Madhu and Rajesh R. Nair.

Prakash Alex will also make his debut as music director through the film.
