Dubai: UAE-based airline company Fly Dubai said that it would refund the ticket price for the passengers who had booked tickets on the flights that were cancelled due to the floods in UAE. Even though services have begun in terminals two and three at the Dubai International Airport, the flights are likely to get delayed. The passengers hoped the services would be restored in 24 hours. Meanwhile, the airport authorities informed that the passengers with confirmed tickets should arrive early to complete the check-in procedures to avoid overcrowding. Air Arabia Airlines based in Sharjah too would replace the tickets in the cancelled flights with equivalent vouchers. These vouchers could be used while booking tickets later. The airline company has expressed willingness to redeem the vouchers as cash too.
Emirates passengers should rebook tickets
Emirates Airlines informed that the passengers whose journeys were cancelled should contact the respective agents or the airline call centre to rebook the tickets. The company said that they are trying to reschedule all the flights and that the passengers should check the website before leaving for the airport to know the renewed schedules as the flights are likely to get delayed. Meanwhile, Emirates expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to the passengers.
Entrance to Dubai International Airport restricted
The authorities of the Dubai International Airport said that passengers with confirmed air travel would be allowed to enter the airport. The passengers have been requested to cooperate to manage the crowd. Besides, the passengers should not directly reach the airport to know the renewed schedules or to rebook the tickets; instead, they should contact the respective travel agent or the airline company. The schedules are constantly updated on the websites of airline companies.
