Tourists who arrives at the other side of the river at Thumboormuzhy also travel to Ezhattumugham to enjoy its charm. From Thumboormuzhy park, one has to take a bridge to reach Ezhattumugham tourism village.
It is also a favourite spot for various kind of butterflies. It is the face of the river from which it separates into seven streams giving the place the name Ezhattumugham . During summer, the water in the river remains low and tourists prefer to enjoy bath in the nearby streams.
DTPC has undertaken various beautification works including laying of new tiles on the pathway and construction of more seating arrangements. Fifty thousand rupees was earmarked for various tourism development of the tourism village.
