After teasing us with a song set in Prague and a road trip to Europe, Imtiaz Ali’s latest flick ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ finally hits the screens today. SRK's Harry and Anushka's Sejal takes us on a tour across exotic foreign locales. Here's a look at some of them
Prague, Czech Republic
Prague, with its chic cafes, gothic cathedrals, and picturesque architectural landmarks is where this beautiful song, 'Radha' from Jab Harry Met Sejal was shot. You get a view of the tall spires, the cobbled lanes, and the courtyards. In the video, you will see two prominent landmarks. The Prague Castle and the Charles Bridge. Amsterdam, The Netherlands
In Bollywood, SRK is the king of romance and Amsterdam, with its many canals gives the right backdrop. Amsterdam, the capital of Netherlands is one of the most frequented destinations in Europe. The canals, the gabled houses, lush parks and the monumental museums, Amsterdam is a must visit. Explore the museums. Drop in at Anne Frank Huis, where Anne Frank's family hid from the Nazis for over two years. Visit the Maritime Museum. Wander across the hundreds of canals that encircle the city. Hire a cycle and roam around and do make it a point to indulge in the street food.
Lisbon, Portugal
Lisbon, with its seven beautiful hillsides, is a postcard perfect panorama. The cobbled alleys, the domed cathedrals, and ancient ruins is a perfect backdrop for romance. And romance is what takes Harry and Sejal to this beautiful city. Start off with a trip to the Torre de Belem, the gothic tower that stands sentinel at the harbor. Gaze up in awe at the 18th century Aqueduto das Aguas Livres, take a trip to Igreja de São Vicente de Fora. And if you still have time, stroll around this beautiful town.
Budapest, Hungary
The thermal baths are king in Budapest, the capital of Hungary and you will never really get tired of them. But, if you do, then this city on the Danube has much to offer. Go on a cruise on the river, walk across the Chain Bridge, visit the many museums and the Hungarian State Opera House. When you get tired of the city, you can go caving beneath Budapest or slink around the labyrinth of the Buda castle where Count Dracula was once held prisoner by Matthias Corvinus. Harry did not take Sejal here, but are you game?
