Mohanlal is KP Rohit's favourite actor. Rohit's hobbies are watching Mohanlal movies and drawing. So it seems natural that the central character in Rohit’s paintings is always Mohanlal. He was always looking for novel ways to portray the actor. A search on YouTube showed the video of a woman preparing pictures in the air by throwing rice up from a flat surface. That caught his attention. The rice is thrown upwards from the hand-held board in a special way to create an image that can only be seen for a moment. That was enough for him to recreate a similar stunt with Mohanlal in mind.
It took him hours to figure out a way to do it. Small stones were used instead of rice. He handed over the video to his friend Hari Prasad and brother KP Rahul. After two or three days of trying, Mohanlal's half-baked picture appeared. The video went viral on social media which was noticed by Mohanlal who also complimented Rohit.
He has also done similar pictures with Mammootty, Suresh Gopi, Kamal Haasan, Nivin Pauly, Allu Arjun, Bobby Chemmannur, Deepika Padukone, and Reshmika Mandanna. Many of them had congratulated Rohit through voice messages. His father KV Rajan works in a private company while his mother is a homemaker. He is a B. Com student at Pilathara Cooperative college.
