Thodupuzha: One more MLA will quit the UDF soon, said Kerala Congress(S) leader and former legislator P.C. George on Thursday.
Addressing reporters here, P.C. George, who was disqualified as a legislator last year, said those with an iota of self esteem cannot continue in the UDF.
Earlier in the day, Kunnathur MLA Kovoor Kunjumon resigned saying no one with self-respect can continue to be part of the corrupt-UDF government.
Reacting to Chief Minister Oommen Chandy's comment that George was behind Saritha's allegations against him, the latter said he knew everything that Saritha is yet to reveal in connection with the solar scam.
George slammed the act of magistrate Raju who did not record Saritha's statements in the initial stage of the probe into the scam. "The magistrate's act is a stain on the judiciary. The magistrate did not record the statement of Saritha to save Chief Minister Oommen Chandy," George said, adding that the High Court should interfere in the case.

George said it was improper from the part of Muslim League to remain silent on the solar scam issue. "The silence of a just person like Panakkad Hyder Ali on this issue is not proper," he said.
George said KPCC chief V.M. Sudheeran should stop his Janaraksha march and call a KPCC meet soon. He added that senior leader A.K. Antony's intervention would not solve the current issues plaguing the Congress.
George said Saritha used to stay at the flat of an MLA from central Travancore, belonging to an ally of UDF, whenever she went to Delhi.
