Ingredients

1 ½ cup semolina
½ cup millet powder
1 tsp yeast
Sugar as required
Salt as required
2 cups lukewarm water

Preparation
Take the semolina, millet powder, yeast, sugar, salt and lukewarm water in a mixer jar
Blend well into batter
Transfer the batter into another bowl
Keep it aside for at least 15-20 minutes
Add more salt and sugar if required
Heat a pan
Pour a ladle full of batter; do not spread the batter too much
Keep the flame high when the batter is poured
Lower the flame when holes begin to appear on the appam
Close the lid and cook
Enjoy this soft appam with egg curry.
