Ingredients
1 small onion
2 green chillies
1 tbsp ginger – garlic paste
1 cup coriander leaves
½ tsp chilli powder
½ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp coriander powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp pepper powder
2 ½ cups wheat flour
2 boiled eggs
Salt as required
4 tbsp oil
Preparation
Take the wheat flour in a bowl and add salt
Pour enough water and mix into chapathi dough
Heat oil in a pan
Sauté the onion, green chillies and ginger – garlic paste
Into it add turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala and pepper powder
Sauté until the raw smell of the powders are gone
Add salt and chopped coriander leaves
Mash the boiled eggs and add them into the sautéed ingredients
Mix well and turn off the flame
Make small balls from the chapathi dough
Roll them into chapathis
Place a tablespoon of masala on a chapathi
Place another chapathi on top
Seal the edges
Heat a pan
Place the stuffed chapathis
Cook each side for at least 2 minutes or are well cooked
Enjoy the masala chapathi with mint chutney.
