'Jayaragangal' set to enthrall capital city

A felicitation of the songs of M. Jayachandran, who is completing two decades of a musical career, is being held in the capital city.

All the prominent personalities from the world of film music will get together in Thiruvananthapuram for this felicitation and the event is bound to provide an unforgettable experience to music lovers.

The event, organised by Manorama Online and hosted by superstar actor Suresh Gopi, will feature a musical evening christened 'Jayaragangal'.

It will see several artists including Yesudas, G. Venugopal, Shreya Ghosal, Sriram, Rajalakshmi, Vijay Yesudas and Vijayalakshmi participating along with several music celebrities thereby presenting an audio-visual treat hitherto unseen.

The cultural fiesta will treat the capital city's music lovers to the lucid melody of Bengali singer Shreya Ghosal.

From Pachapanamthathey to Kathirunnu Kathirunnu, Anathapuri’s night of the Nov 28 will have the rhythm of Jayachandran’s music.

Not just songs, the venue will lit up with scintillating dance numbers featuring a lineup of South Indian stars.

The musical treat of Jayachandran tunes will be accompanied by the visual marvels. Balabhaskar and Stephen Devassy will enthrall the crowds in the night dedicated to music.

While Stephen Devassy and Balabhaskar unleash their magic on the keyboard and violin respectively, Suraj Venjarammood and crew will handle the anchoring of the show laced with rib-tickling humor.
