This Onam was quite special for Perinthalmanna native Vijayakumaran and his family. The family was thrilled to move into their brand-new house in their hometown after living and working abroad for decades. The house exudes the elegant charm of the traditional architectural style.

The family wanted a cosy abode that reminds them of their old ancestral house while boasting of modern amenities and style. Noted architect Sandhya, who is based in Kozhikode, had designed this amazing abode. The house has been designed considering the modern lifestyle of the family members and the surrounding nature too. For instance, there is a high-rise apartment complex close to the house. One could easily catch a glimpse of this house from the upper floors. So, the interior spaces in the house have been designed by ensuring privacy.
