Ingredients
2 tbsp mustard seeds
100 gms raw rice
1 ½ cups water
1 tsp cumin
¼ cup coconut milk
¼ tsp salt
Preparation
Soak the mustard seeds and raw rice separately for at least 3-4 hours.
Grind them nicely.
Add the ground mustard paste into a pan along with 1 cup water and cook for 5 -6 minutes.
Now add the ground raw rice and half cup water. Allow it to boil.
Stir continuously so that lumps are not formed.
Into it add cumin and coconut milk. Add 1 cup coconut milk if you are looking for a loose consistency.
Add salt as required and consume hot.
Consume this kaduku kanji for three consecutive evenings. However, you shouldn't accompany this porridge with spicy or sour food.
